Covering the ups and downs of the Detroit Tigers.

April 17th, 2008 Posted in 2008 season, Links

Everything is suddenly right in Tigerland with the Tigers riding a three game winning streak.  If not for our awful record that bad start would be a distant memory.  Here’s some required reading from around the interweb:

  • Detroit Tigers Weblog points out that Carlos Guillen has been a beast all season, even when the team was struggling and he did it all on a bad wheel.
  • Mack Avenue Tigers has a nice recap on the game last night.  He points out a fact that my dad told me about during the game:  In their first 12 games the Tigers scored 33 runs, over the last three games they have 30 runs.
  • Take 75 Northhas the recaps for all of the Tiger minor league games last night.  Some younsters had some big games.  Good stuff.
  • Tiger Blog kindly points out that things are rolling, even if it is 2 and a half weeks late.  Better late than never I guess.
  • Tiger Tales recaps the game and points out that the two AL Central favorites are tied for last place.  That’s April baseball.
  • Danny Knobbler over at M-Live is reporting that Curtis Granderson could be up and playing by Monday.  Wonderful.
  • If you’re the sort of person who like to take pleasure in others suffering, check out Lets Go Tribe for their recap on the game.
  • Stop by the Tribe Report as well.  They feel like we did the first 7-10 games.
BallHype: hype it up!
