The Horror

By Blake VandeBunte • Apr 7th, 2008 • Category: 2008 season

I spent all fall and winter getting myself mentally prepared for an amazing season of Tiger baseball.  Let’s just say things haven’t quite turned out the way I wanted them to.  The Tigers are currently 0-6 and appear to be getting worse rather than better following last nights 13-2 loss at home to the White Sox.  I’m not going to sit here and recap the ugliness of the season thus far.  If you are one of those rubber neckers who likes to stop and look at car crashes and the like you can follow these links.  Enjoy!

  • Eric of D Town Baseball was lucky enough to be at the game last night.  Tough break, Eric.
  • This might be my favorite post of the season so far.  Kurt of Mack Avenue Tigers does the admirable thing and lets his frustrtation show.  I’m one more loss away from making a very similar post.
  • Brian at Tiger Blog actually wrote his recap before the game was even over.  I know that kind of pain.
  • Lee of Tiger Tales admits that he cannot find a positive from last nights game.  Ditto.
  • At Bless You Boys Ian is running out of reasons to stay positive.  He notes that the Tigers hit into 5 double plays last night.  Tough to win when that happens.
