Byrdak to Houston

The Free Press is reporting that Byrdak will sign a minor league deal with the Houston Astros. The Astros are known to be a team short on pitching. Being a lefty reliever one would have to assume that he stands to get more big league time with Houston than he would with the Tigers, no matter how bad our bullpen might get.
Even though it looked like he was leaning towards coming back to the Tigers it’s hard to hold this move against the guy. A guy has to go where he can find work and it’s not so easy to find gainful employment in Michigan right now, not even for baseball players.
