Back In Full Swing

The Tigers went 8-6 while I was gone, but it sure could have been a lot better. Curtis Granderson, Edwin Jackson and Justin Verlander are All-Stars. Always nice to see the Tigers represented in that game.
Special thanks to JAYRC who held down the fort while I was gone. He will likely stay on to contribute here from time-to-time. Embrace him with open arms.
The Tigers took a game in Minnesota and you really just have to take what you can get there. I’ll take it as a positive. They hold a two game lead over the Twins as the Tigers start a six game homestand before the All Star break. It will start tomorrow with three games against the Royals and then three against Cleveland. A 4-2 record in those six games is an absolute necessity.
It’s nice to be back. It feels great to type on a keyboard at my home base. More importantly, I’ll be able to watch a Tigers game to its completion for the first time in over two weeks, tomorrow evening. Good stuff.

It is nice to have you back. JayRC did a great job while you were gone. I am glad to see he is going to continue here and there with some of his insight.
