Tigers and White Sox Will Play Two
By Blake VandeBunte • Apr 22nd, 2009 • Category: 2009 Season, Chicago White SoxRemember the Tigers and White Sox game that got rained out? Well, there is finally a make up date: July 24th.
The Tigers and Sox will play a doubleheader that day, which is always a good time. Sadly, you will still need to buy tickets for both games if you want to enjoy the full benefits of a doubleheader.
Game one will be played at 1:05 and the second game will be played at 7:05. Good stuff. I always thought it would be fun if teams scheduled a few double headers each season. How could you not love that idea?

I have, sadly, never been to a doubleheader. I would love to go to one, though. I think I would be more inclined if it was an actual doubleheader with the games being back-to-back, and if you only needed one ticket to see both.
Yeah, they just don’t do that any more which is too bad. It would be mildly annoying to not only pay twice, but to have to leave the stadium and wait around for the next one to start.
Any clue when the Tigers vs White Sox game that was rained out May 6th will be rescheduled?
