Covering the ups and downs of the Detroit Tigers.

Links

February 3rd, 2009 Posted in Brandon Inge, Jeremy Bonderman, Juan Encarnacion, Justin Verlander, Links

I haven’t done a links page in quite a while, so here it is:

  • At Bless You Boys, Ian asks if the Tigers are better than the Royals.  Isn’t it a shame that we even have to think about that question?
  • Everyone and their mother is wondering what will happen with Justin Verlander and his contract situation.  Dive in if you dare.
  • At Old English D, Jennifer gives us an update on former Tiger, Juan Encarnacion.  Juan was one of my favorites for a while and his injury outlook is pretty sad.  Too bad.
  • Mike McClary of The Daily Fungo has something for all of us geeks to excited over.
  • Over at DesigNate Robertson, Rogo goes Fire-Joe-Morgan all over Jason Beck on MLB.com.
  • Lee Panas at Tiger Tales asks if Brandon Inge is a rally killer.  If someone asked me that I would take it as a joke since the answer seems so obvious.  Luckily for us, Lee offers up some numbers to answer the question.
  • Matt, of I-75 North, looks at how the Tigers outfield will shake out in the Minor Leagues.  Check out some of his other posts as well on the other positions.  Good Stuff.
  • At Trumbull and Michigan, Sean likes what the Tigers did in last year’s draft and hopes they keep it up this June.
  • Tom Gage of the Detroit Newsreports that Jeremy Bonderman is progressing nicely as he recovers from last year’s surgery.
BallHype: hype it up!
